In October 2019 senior students from Poroti School came into Whangarei for a day of bike riding. Several staff and parents joined in the fun. Kevin and Arwen led the group around the Hatea Loop and then out to the Onerahi domain via the Waimahanga track for a quick, (and very windy), picnic, before heading back to the start point at Pohe Island. We had wind, rain, and sunshine and, rode over 20 kilometers but the kids still had the energy to do some jumps at the end.
