Parihaka Mountain bike park

Possibly the closest mountain bike park to a city in New Zealand. Parihaka is in continual development and has many purpose-built mountain bike trails that are managed and maintained through volunteer efforts by Whangarei Mountain Bike club (and regular users are encouraged to join the club and help out with working bees where possible), as well as gravel roads and a couple of 4wd tracks.

There is a good mix of downhill flow-trails and hand-cut single track, along with one main uphill trail (White Tail). Map boards are located within the park at major intersections or refer to Trailforks.
